With the opening of a Starbucks down the street from Moreau, a surge in students and teachers bringing Starbucks to school was imminent. Having been open for almost a year now, students wonder if it is worth accounting for time to get Starbucks into their daily commutes. This article will explain why you should consider getting Starbucks in the morning.
Imagine this scenario: you stayed up late last night catching up on homework and didn’t get as much sleep as you would’ve preferred. You show up to school the next morning and have to take a lot of notes during your first period. Unsurprisingly, you become really tired from this. Now, imagine if you showed up with coffee in hand instead. Rather than being really sleepy, the coffee would act as a stimulant, and at least keep you locked in for a period or two. But of course, it wouldn’t be smart to drink coffee every single day.
I personally recommend that if you were to get Starbucks in the morning, it should only be for when you really need it. There are a varying number of factors that should be considered when deciding to get Starbucks in the morning, such as how much sleep you got the night before or how much work you’re gonna have to do throughout the day.
Junior Natalia Bosl describes the circumstances in which she gets Starbucks in the mornings. She explains, “it’s not every day, but when I need a pick-me up.”
Additionally, Natalia adds that the effect of Starbucks can be seen, “If (she) falls asleep in every class or not.” This helps prove how Starbucks can boost productivity throughout the day.
In general, it is clear that Starbucks can be a good thing to grab on morning commutes based on how tired you are, but it genuinely depends on the person. Again, it is important to note that it is unhealthy to drink coffee every day (not to mention pricey on the pockets). However, there are times when you really need it and, as Natalia puts it, it “helps the day run smoothly because you’ll go into it with a tiny bit more confidence.”
