On Saturday, May 30, the 5th seeded varsity softball team pulled off an incredible 4-1 victory on the road against #2 seed Acalanes High School in Lafayette to bring home the 2026 NCS Championship! The Mariners’ four runs came courtesy of three home runs, with two long bombs in the first three batters of the game.
Next up, seeding will be announced on Sunday, May 31 for the CIF state championship tournament, and the Mariners will find out who they will play next in the quest for a Division 5 state title. Stay tuned!
