A poll was sent out on October 10th, which received 140 responses from Mariners describing what they’d wear for Halloween. While there are many costumes that are hilarious, of the one hundred forty, these are the top six that will look the most interesting!
6. John Adams
John Adams was the second president, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be him for Halloween! I thought it’d be strange to dress up as him, but the more I picture someone wearing a 17th-century coat with a white wig, the more I want to see it!
5. Vending Machine
This could be really sick if the costume is well-made or of good quality. There are many creative choices to be made with this- you can use whatever treats you want; drinks, candy, or chips are all good options. Plus, you get to take up as much room as you want, being a big candy container and all!
4. David Bowie
If you’re not familiar with him, Bowie is an English songwriter known for his innovative music and theatrical identity. He’s especially known for his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust. And this is just ONE of his many outfits! Whoever chose this costume has a wide range of options.
3. Jack Sparrow
Who doesn’t love this guy? A very memorable character from many of our childhoods, Captain Jack Sparrow was definitely making it on here. Of course, he also has a lot of fun accessories to wear, especially his makeup and hair!
2. Jollibee
Jollibee… like the restaurant? Yep! Quite clever too- mascots work great as costumes, and everyone knows about this one in particular! Whoever dresses as this one had better act Jolly! Oh, not funny? Yeah, I’ll see myself out…
1. Labubu
You hate ‘em, you love ‘em, it’s the Labubus! Seriously though, how can this not be a top pick? It’s got everything, from its (subjective) cuteness to its unmatched popularity! I look forward to seeing this walking the halls.
