Mariner Basketball: NCS Tournament Schedule

With the winter regular season now complete, NCS playoffs are officially underway. Both the boys’ and girls’ programs capped undefeated league seasons and claimed MVAL titles. Brackets were announced on Sunday, February 15 and are available on the NCS website

Booster Passes will not be accepted for these games; tickets are available for purchase through GoFan.

The boys’ basketball program enters the NCS Open Division for the first time in school history, earning the No. 5 seed in the region’s most competitive bracket. The Mariners open postseason play on Thursday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m. at No. 4 De La Salle in the first round. The winner of Thursday’s game will travel to play No. 1 Salesian College Prep in the semifinals on Wednesday, February 25.

Girls’ basketball earned the No. 2 seed in the NCS Division 2 bracket and will tip off postseason play at home on Wednesday, February 18 at 7:00 p.m. against No. 15 Fortuna High School. If the girls’ team advances, they will continue hosting on Saturday, February 21.

The NCS Championship games for all boys’ and girls’ brackets are set for February 27 to 28. Let’s pack the gym and support our teams in their respective runs for an NCS title.
